A little relaxing train fun on my Dad's birthday

Today decided I needed a few hours away from home so I called
a few days in advance and asked Bob if i can come out and film at
the railfan house next to Peck Park in Galesburg. This will probably
be the only time I can railfan this month being without transportation
but I did catch some interesting stuff. I'm not disappointed as quite a
few interesting lash ups and various types of trains passed by but this
is Galesburg where you'll see plenty of action so I imagine an  average
day. During the slow times photographed the well fed squirrels and a
wood pecker who has avoided a decent shot prior to today.  So spent
atleast five hours or so watching trains.

On top of this it must be noted in memory it was my Dad Bill May's
birthday. He was born in Canton, Illinois on this day back in 1941 and
had Cancer not have taken him would have been 78 today. He passed
away back in November 2007. I dedicated one of the videos to him
and the best lash up I've seen in a while  BNSF SD70MAC EX,  CSX
ES44DC and a CN C40-8 #2115 with the 15 year logo on it and i think
it was an ex-CNW & UP unit.  How awesome is that?

I wanted to go see the UP Big Boy at the end of the month but it doesn't
appear I'll be able to make it due to no transportation.  I thought of doing
that as dedication to Dad but this will have to work and good enough. He
was alive during the time of Steam I was not. It kind of would have been
cool to be back in those times but alas it's was not meant to be....80's born.
