Hitchcock Scrapyard update...

It appears more and more likely okay 100 percent certain that the
Scrapyard Hitchcock will start to load cars out and ship via rail.
A friend  told me a car was spotted and probably had headed west
so I went to see if there was anything. Sure enough to my delight
there was and the most beautiful sight I have seen in Canton in a
while. So how often  or how much they load I have no idea yet nor
do I know what days. This is one of those things to watch as it moves
along and if i catch and film anything will post and update at a later
date. I couldn't be more happier about this. Keokuk Junction Railway
gets another customer, the scrapyard can ship via rail whatever and
maybe the trains will stick around Canton a little longer which is a plus
for me. I'm greatful for someone mentioning this to me due to having a
cold I haven't been out in a day or so to  try to get rid of a cough. It's
better than it was still wish it and the sore throat would just go away.
I'm so ready for spring and warmer weather.

I was told the car was from 1968 and since being  over 40 years old wouldn't
meet the criteria for regulations or something to be used and it may have been
bought by Hitchcock to dismantle. Still this is a sign that something is about to
happen here so either way I can now believe this may actually be happening and
not another Canton pipe dream gone up in smoke. Thought this should be noted.
I didn't know.

Below is from this morning Feb 9, 2018 in Canton where Hitchcock had one of
their trucks there. I drove by later and they had their equipment sitting off away from
the railcar and no one was there but that was this morning. The pictures are from
my first visit this morning when the truck was there.
